Hearing the shofar is the primary mitzvah (commandment) of Rosh Hashanah.

Escape the busyness of everyday life and find a moment of peace. Join us for a meaningful "Shofar in the Park" event, a chance to reconnect with something essential and timeless.

This gathering is a special opportunity for our community to come together and reflect on the past year. We will hear the unadulterated blasts of the shofar, a powerful and ancient call that stirs the soul. The sound, pure and resonant, helps us return to a simpler, more spiritual state as we mark our collective birthday and usher in a new year.

The event will also include the traditional Tashlich ceremony. This is a symbolic ritual where we cast away our wrongdoings from the previous year into a natural body of water. As we perform this act, we reflect on our mistakes and commit to a fresh start.

Afterward, you'll walk away not only with the memory of this shared experience but also with a renewed sense of purpose—a message that you were carrying all along. We invite you to be part of this special tradition in the heart of our community.
