Rabbi Peretz Goldshmid  was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He studied in Yeshivas( schools of Talmudic study) in New York, Toronto,and Israel and then received his Rabbinical Ordination from the Jewish Educational Leadership Institute in Miami.

He has traveled as a Chabad outreach emissary to many countries including Ireland, Poland and Iceland. He also spent a year in Koh Samui, Thailand, acting as an assistant Rabbi for the community there, and has since been involved in educational seminars and community outreach programs in Chabad Centers throughout the United States.

Rabbi Peretz is known for his personable and friendly personality, and for always having a meaningful insight and Torah perspective to share.

Mrs. Mashie Goldshmid  grew up in the heart of the Crown Heights Chabad Jewish community in Brooklyn, New York. Since childhood, she has had a passion to inspire and reach out to others. After graduating with honors from the Beis Rivkah High School of Crown Heights, she traveled to Israel where she studied education.  

Through her experiences as an algebraic math teacher to Middle School students, and as Assistant Administrator in Beth Rivkah, she gained the skills and enthusiasm to be program director and educator for Chabad of the Delta.
